Stinger’s misfortune started when he accidentally came across a group of bees and endured a massive attack of bee stings, causing him to be in a critical state. His deafness made him more defenseless during this incident. Adding to his distress, his previous owners left him behind in his dire condition, cutting off all connections.
It was truly heartbreaking to see Stinger covered in bee stings and unable to get any help. However, things took a surprising turn when Carri Shipaila stepped in. As the founder of LuvnPupz, an animal rescue group, she soon discovered that Stinger was suffering from more than just bee stings – he also had scabies and was severely underweight.
Carri described her reaction when she found out about Stinger’s situation. Apart from being stung by bees, he was also diagnosed with pemphigus, an autoimmune ailment that causes distressing blisters on various body parts like skin and mucous membranes of the nose, mouth, eyes, and throat. To keep this condition under control, Stinger would have to take medication throughout his life.
Carri admires Stinger, despite the challenges he has faced. Stinger is a delightful puppy who captures the hearts of everyone he comes across. He displays all the best characteristics of his breed: affectionate, lively, and playful.
