I recently discovered Yana, a unique and kind-hearted cat with a special trait that sets her apart from other Instagram-famous animals. Yana is based in Minsk and has a genetic abnormality known as a chimera. Her cells come from different zygotes, resulting in a distinct coloration and a stunning “two-faced” appearance. While her fur is typical, her human face is divided down the middle – one side is an eye-catching orange, while the other is a deep black. She’s almost like having two cats in one!
Besides her captivating appearance, Yana has other peculiar and adorable qualities. According to Elizabeth, she loves playing fetch like a dog, amusingly dozes with her tongue hanging out of her mouth, and even enjoys sipping tea.
