Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez topped the best dressed list at the 58th annual Grammy Awards on Monday.
All eyes were on the pop star BFFs as they lead the A-list arrivals on the red carpet at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles in show-stopping gowns.
Both showcased their toned stomachs for the occasion, with Taylor sporting a red bandeau top with a hot pink skirt, which was slit open to reveal her matching underwear.

The 26-year-old paired her Atelier Versace outfit with metallic Stuart Weitzman heels, and was also showing off a new shorter hairdo complete with blunt fringe.
Meanwhile Selena went for a glitzy look in a blue sequined Calvin Klein gown which featured cut-out sides, and she flashed plenty of cleavage thanks to a low-cut neckline. The 23-year-old gave her petite frame a boost in Giuseppe Zanotti heels.
Selena, whose hair was styled in soft curls, picked nude lipstick and dramatic smoky eye make-up, while Taylor kept her eye make-up toned down but wore her signature red lipstick.
The Good For You hit-maker changed her look after heading into the venue, but still showcased her gorgeous figure in a satin red Cushnie et Ochs number.

Taylor, who was up for seven gongs in total, took home the coveted Album Of The Year award for 1989 – slamming Kanye West’s recent comment that he ‘made her famous’ in the process – and also won Best Pop Vocal Album for the record.
While Taylor and Selena certainly stood out, Lady Gaga had the most memorable look of the evening. The 29-year-old was performing a tribute to David Bowie during the ceremony, and also paid homage to the late singer with her outfit.

The stars were toasting another year in music at the Staples Center as they were honoured by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
The evening was hosted by LL Cool J, who has won two Grammys in the past. This marks the rapper’s fifth consecutive year as emcee of music’s biggest night.
Going into the evening, Kendrick Lamar led the pack with 11 nominations. The Overly Dedicated hit-maker was nominated for the staggering number of awards in nine different categories.

There were several performances throughout the evening, with a star-studded homage to Lionel Richie in honour of him being named MusiCares Person Of The Year.
John Legend, Demi Lovato, Meghan Trainor, Tyrese Gibson and Luke Bryan belted out some of the 66-year-old’s biggest hits, before he joined them on stage.

The evening also had a somber moment as the life of the late David Bowie was celebrated with a special tribute by Lady Gaga, which saw her perform a medley of eight of his most famous songs.
Gaga was already confirmed to perform during the event, but producers made an instantaneous decision to ask her to pay tribute to Bowie following his unexpected death last month after a secret battle with cancer.

The Eagles paid their respects to their late band-member Glenn Frey with a touching performance during the ceremony, while Johnny Depp’s band The Hollywood Vampires performed a tribute to Motorhead’s Lemmy, who died from cancer in December.
Chris Stapleton, Bonnie Raitt and Gary Clark meanwhile delivered a performance in honour of the late B.B. King, and Stevie Wonder led an a capella version of Earth, Wind & Fire’s That’s The Way Of The World with Pentatonix, following the death of Maurice White.
Meanwhile, Gwen Stefani recorded the music video for her latest single Make Me Like You live during one of the commercial breaks.
Rihanna and Lauryn Hill had also been scheduled to perform, but both pulled out at the last minute. Rihanna is allegedly suffering from bronchitis and was advised against singing by doctors, while Lauryn stated that she was not given enough time to prepare.
